At the time of writing there are over 100 posts in the "introduce yourself" thread. i doubt anyone is going to go through 100 posts now to see who is living in THEIR country/city/locale.
Why not create a new "introduce yourself" folder , that has sub-folders with individual countries (or at the very least continents! ) where people can leave their info and it will be easier for people to find someone in their locality ?

Yeah, I agree to that. I wish there could be one on morocco, and such countries as are mentioned! Would be very HELPFUL! Thanks.

The thing is that this is not a dating site. People who are introducing themselves are introducing theirselves to all other forum users.
It is possible to find people on location though: http://www.arab-gay.com/forums/memberlist.php?do=search

...This is the point that seems to be lost on most people: This is Not A Dating Site!!! It is and could be a really good place to meet people and network...most importantly it could/should be a safe place for Arab and Persian men who culturaly have difficulties with being gay to visit and an awesome place to exchange ideas amongst Arab/Persian and non alike. Yup, a little eye candy is cool too...but this is not the be all and end all that I thought this site would become...
Personally, I'd prefer to see less posts of (in my opinion) a racist and sterotypical nature and more posts of substantative issues. Perhaps less discussion about "big Arab dick" and more discussions of a cultural nature, i.e., Arab/Person history, literature, being Muslim and gay in today's world etc. etc.
Is there a way that this site could be promoted to include those Arab and Persian men who feel isolated, whether in Western counties or in their home countries? Additionally is there a way that questions of homosexuality...vis a vis...Arab family pressures/oldest son issues/Islam and legal questions could be raised so that non Arabs have a better understanding of what it is like for Arab and Persian men to actually come to terms with being gay?
I think this site has tremendous potential. I love sex just as much as the next person...but I would hate to see a site like this (with as much potential as it has) simply become another "meat market" website. Mike (gsdfargo[AT]yahoo.com)
