strictly speaking, ' arabs ' are those originally from the arabian peninsula. Although coming from muslim countries, those from algeria, marocco, etc are north african muslims. Of course both share many things besides religion, as the arab domination extended for centuries in all the region (including south of spain)

This is too hard to generalize. There are genetic differences between races but very few and most are only skin deep such as nose size and lips thin or thick - and as one person says it can be true for both tribes. I think it's interesting that someone mentioned indigenous Latin Americans (like in the Amazon Rain forest). Those are the guys who seem most removed from the mordern scene and they are dealing with pure feelings of attraction to the right male - they have no refrence (unless that tribe was very open to it - as some cultures actually think the rare occaision of a gay orientation means a spiritual or good thing). What I'm saying is the difference in my mind comes down to how many Mexican Americans live in the Southwest United States now, and only the most rural (ranch hands etc) have no idea about the gay scene of the USA. They are not as shy and even flirt with gay guys though they claim to be straight. Arabs seem to have a culture that would make them more shy to this kind of thing - I find that very sexy.
