You may have noticed that since a couple of days you need a x number of posts on this site to be able to view links, view attachments, use our PM and e-mail system, etc. We've implemented this new 'feature' to reduce the amount of spam being posted in our forums but also due to the lack of participation by many users in our forums. There are currently 4660 users on this site, yet only a handfull are actually participating in the forums. We hope that this new feature will stimulate our 'invisible' users to become more active and visible in our forums. Those who participate are being rewarded by being able to use more features on our site, such as our PM system for example, etc. We think you get the point :)
BUT...
Be advised that this new 'feature' is absolutely NOT an invitiation to start posting Bullshit in our forums. Several users got banned during the past few days for posting bullshit, and their posts were removed so their post count was back to zero.
Please think about what you post. When we suspect that users are posting just to increase their post count (posts of only a couple of words, meaningless posts, etc.) we will remove their post(s) and ban them for a certain period of time.
