Today we've send all our users a newsletter, including those users who disabled 'Receive Email from Administrators' in their User Control Panel. Once in a while it's necessary to e-mail all users in order to check all user accounts for bouncing e-mail addresses.

We received quite a lot of bounced e-mails with various error messages: account suspended or closed, this user doesn't have a ... account, mailbox full, connection refused, etc. etc.

To keep our site fast and user-friendly we have removed all accounts with bouncing e-mail addresses of users that have a forum post count of zero.

Users who have previously posted in our forums but who's e-mail address did bounce have been marked as 'bounced users'. These users will notice limited privileges on our site and they should have received a PM with instructions on how to update their account's e-mail address. Update your account with a valid functional e-mail address or the problem will occur again later.

If you are currently unable to login (with the correct password) and you never posted in our forums then your e-mail address has problable bounced and we removed your account. You are welcome to re-register but please do use a valid and functioning e-mail address. Also, make sure to add our site's webmaster[AT]... e-mail address to your contacts to ensure mail delivery. We advise all our users to do this so not just those users who have problems with boucing e-mails.

If you received our newsletter and if you are still able to login to our site and you don't notice any limited privileges in your account then everything is fine (but please add webmaster[AT]... to your contacts to avoid future problems).

Please reply to this post if you have any questions. If your account has limited privileges and you cannot reply to this post then please PM me or use the contact us page.
