Coming out of a turkish footbal referee

A turkish football referee from Trabzon said in a turkish tv show that he is gay and has now to suffer from all kinds of attacks! For me he is a real heroe!

I totally agree - what a brave man to do that. A new hero for me too. And the surprising news is he has lots of support.

I admire that this referee came out as gay, but after living in Istanbul years ago, I know that it can be hell and dangereous around the wrong crowd. Inside the football league is definately going to cause a lot of homophobia in the showers. I think they may not take showers now. I hope this man surrounds himself with supportive friends and family.
